About Lucas

Lucas Bricca is a writer, videographer, and web designer. He is passionate about experimenting with digital mediums to capture organizations’ human impacts.

A long-time solo adventurer, Lucas loves using the lens of travel to explore regional politics, mundane philosophy, and the quotidian absurdity of modernity in his monthly blog. Occasionally, he also has time to update his YouTube channel, psychoanalysis podcast, and budding collection of philosophy essays.

Lucas was previously an ethnographic researcher in Argentina and Chile (see publications), editorial intern at NACLA, and interpreter for refugees with Derechos Humanos y Diversidad.

When he’s not asphyxiating in the Peruvian Andes or crewing on a catamaran across the Atlantic, you can find Lucas bouldering, running, and yes, ballroom dancing. He speaks Spanish fluently and loves practicing his Tunisian Arabic.
